Abstract:
     In this invention a technology is presented for extraction of gold and silver with di-(2-ethylhexyl) thio ether from the anode mud of copper electroplating. This process does not include any electrolytic step, but increases the xield of gold and silver recovery with a simple method; and it is applicable to extraction of gold and silver from anode mud of copper or lead electroplating and other gold and silver centaining materials. The process mainly includes: pretreatment, leaching of silver with nitric acid, extraction of silver, leaching of gold with aquaregia from the residue insoluble in nitric acid and extraction of gold.
