Abstract: |
|||
| The technology is capable of completing the electroslag refining, solidification and forming of integral crankshaft at one step with the same equipment. The consumable electrode can perform the melt-casting all along the direction of crankshaft shaped cavity. In order to meet the needs of crank forming, the integral melt-casting mold is to shift horizontally at the time when slag surface is at the crank part, and the slag quantity is adjusted during melt-casting process. Adoption of over two stages of split water cooling casting or pressing molds has certain assemble orders, and at least one of the molds should be assembled in melt-casting. This technology with the equipment has the advantages of high quality, less material, fewer work-hours, lower investment, and the effert of casting taking the place of forging. | |||
