Abstract:
     Immediately after the molten iron is poured into the ladle, a sulfide or sulfate or a calcium compound is added. It is then stirred by blowing in a stream of inert gas or mechanically stirred. The resulting tin compound is insoluble in iron, and can thus be separated.
