Abstract:
     This method involves the use of an organic phosphine extracting agent (Chinese code "5709") in obtaining highly purified nickel product from acidic Ni-containing raw solution, especially the Ni-containing solution which has been selectively extracted with sulfuric acid, by means of multi-stage counter-current extraction to remove the metallic impurities in the solution, followed by elimination of organic compounds in the extracted solution by a memberane-phase de-fatting equipment, and the final product is obtained as electrodeposit on the insoluble anode. Similarly, high-purity cobalt product can be produced from Co-containing raw solution through the extraction and purification by applying "5709".
