Abstract:
This invention is provided for improving solvent extraction to separate molybdenum from tungsten by liquid P204 (Di-2-ethyl-hexyl phosphate) as the extraction agent, which overcomes the problem of deep separating molybdenum and tungsten from industrial waste lye containing molybdenum salts. Said invention uses liquid P204 as active extraction agent, citric acid or boric acid as complexing agent and gasoline or kerosene as solvent for the extraction, which efficiently separates molybdenum from the industrial waste lye. By using said process, rate of molybdenum extraction is reaching upto 99.16%, WO3 loss lower than 1%, while Mo/WO3 less than 0.02% in lye after extracted.
