Abstract:
     The process of this invention includes addition of phosphate or phosphoric acid to the sodium hydroxide leach solution, so that, at the same time as wolframite is leached out by sodium hydroxide scheelite is also dissolved, calcium is converted to the calcium hydroxy-phosphate and precipitated, while tungsten passes into solution in the form of sodium tungstate. Wolframite and scheelite can be leached out simultaneously under normal pressure, the total rate of leaching of tungsten can reach 98%. This method is suitable for proccssing mixed ores of wolframite and scheelite, such as the wolframite and scheelite concentrate, the calcium-containing ores which are difficult to be selected, the tungsten-containing fine mud and scheelite slag leached by ammonia.
