Abstract:
     This invention concerns a process of using medium grade tin ore as raw material for making stannic oxide by a chemical metallurgical process. According to the present invention, the process mainly consists of: preparation of stable stannous compounds, extracting the stable stannous compound with sulfuric acid, oxidization in the liquid phase, stagewise roasting and secondary oxidization. The method of this invention provides a new way to treat associated ore and to use new raw materials for making stannic oxide.
