Abstract:
     The invention concerns a salt used in heat treatment salt bath stove to protect the workpiece from oxidation decarbonisation. According to priciple of reduction, special effective deoxidant, dehydrated borax and carbofrax are added to halide salt and mixed. In this invention the regime of salt-using has been modified and realized the goal of keeping the workpiece from oxidation decorbonisation in the salt bath technology of heat treatment, and has guaranteed the inherent quality of quenched work-piece. It increases the effective working time, saves electric power, improves working conditions, and decreases environmental pollution.
