| Methyl alcohol cracking is catalized at 230~310 deg.C in a special designed vaporizing prechamber and a catalyzed cracking furnace. By means of adding different amount of water into the feed methyl alcohol, we can adjust the composition of CO2 and obtain the gas with different carbon content, which can be adjusted from 0.6 to 1.20 that the needs of protective heating and adding carbon to various steel can be met. Many problems in methyl alcohol cracking gas generator at high temperature,such as 900 deg.C, lav carbon content, limited use, high energy consumption (BKW), carbon illuviation, etc.can be solved For example, only 3 KW power will be consumed to produce 3 m3/h gas. This shows that the energy consumption has been greatly decreased. For practical needs, we can make serious products of which gas generating rate can be varied from 1 to 10 m3/h. | |||
