| The stchndogy of explosion hardening for high manganese steel relates to a special technology in machinery manufacturing industries. In conventional technol., the rubber membrance explosive based on RDX or PETN, or the plastic explosive in which RDX is mixed with dynamite are used. They are both expensive, not easy to operate and less stable. The present invention is cheracterized by that a special explosive is used to treat the high manganese steel, this explosive is of a good affinity with the steel surface. Furthermore, the present technology is simple and easy to operate and the price of the explosive to be used is 1/20 of that used in the conventional process. With one explosion, the surface hardness may reach Rc 44 and Rc 32 can be reached as deep as 11 mm. | |||
