Abstract:
A method of rolling a base steel sheet consists of the following steps: the billet with the composition (wt.) of C is less than 0.0070%, Si is less than 0.1%, Mn is less than 0.5%, Al 0.010-0.080%, N is less than 0.050%, S is less than 0.030% (Mn/S is greater than 10), P is less than 0.030% is hot rolled, the final temp. being not below 800 deg.C; then the billet is cold-rolled by the normal method, continuous annealing and cooling is carried out while heated to the recrystalization temp. of 800 deg.C; the annealed sheet steel is finishing rolled with a recessing ratio no less than 7% by double-housing or multi-housing rolling mill. The steel sheet thus obtained may be used to produce tinned plate or tinless plate. This steel sheet will not show stretcher strain markings even after bake treatment.
