Abstract: |
|||
| The invention is a process for heat-treating metallic workpieces, using a straight-flow or continuous pusher-type furnace with at least two treatment chambers having doors. Workpieces enter the treatment chambers periodically. In at least one of the treatment chambers, the workpiece charges are irregularly transported further in such a way that they are discharged from the respective treatment chambers after different residence times. The apparatus is characterised in that in furnace spaces of the treatment chambers of different temperature and/or furnace atmosphere and has one door each for charging and discharging the workpieces, wherein each treatment chamber (2, 3) is designed as a round cyclic furnace with a furnace hearth which can be cyclically moved in rotation, one of the working doors being an intermediate door leading to the next treatment chamber (3). | |||
