Abstract:
     The purpose of the present invention is to remove dry cylinder sleeve. A kilowatt level CO2 laser beam is used to make unequal pitch scanning on the inner wall of cylinder hole. Its treatment material is general gray cast-iron. According to the wearing character of diesel engine cylinder hole, during the course of scanning the laser beam power and scanning trace present nonlinear or linear variation. After laser treatment the deformation of cylinder hole is less, the surface hardness of cylinder hole is risen greatly. It has high corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance and its service life has an advantage over ferroboron cylinder sleeve. By using the process of the present invention, working procedure, equipment investment and product cost can be reduced.
