Abstract:
     This invention has published a new technology for cooling treatment of hot-rolled silicon steel sheets just rolled. Before the sheets just rolled are cooled to 750-660 deg.C, they are thrown into water or other medium for quenching to change the form and distribution of carbon in steel. During annealing, the decarburizing efficiency is notedly increased. The content of carbon is decreased by more than one order of magnitude. The product performances are largely improved, especially the value of iron loss is decreased by a wide margin.
