Abstract:
     This invention concerns a new heat treatment process to increase the fatigue strength for 18 Cr2Ni4WA steel crankshaft. According to this new heat treatment process, when the heat treatment of crankshaft is performed, the period for crankshaft to stay in air is controlled from element content, then crankshaft is put into oil to be cooled, thus changing interior contexture structure. The new process has the advantages of fining contexture grain, increasing fatigue strength, improving comprehensive mechanical performance and increasing the service time of the workpiece. It has a wide range of application and can be used in computer control.
