Abstract:
     A new technology of high pressure relaxation treatment for helical compression springs by means of electric pulse. The compression springs made of various diameters of wires are heated and intensively treated by means of contacting electric pulse. It tekes only 5 seconds to complete the treatment under a certain pressure with proper electrical parameters. The 10 year load loss rate of the treated springs can be reduced from the original rate of 10--15% to the pressent rate of under 5%. By means of this technology, the continuity and automatic control of the process and the power saving and time saving can be realized.
