Abstract:
     This equipment is used for vacuum refining of the molten steel which has been smelted roughly. Using this equipment, we can subject the molten steel to vacuum-pumping, vacuum de-carbon by means of blasting oxygen, vacuum heating and other treatments. It cosists mainly of a fixed vacuum tank and two covers (in one of them is fitted a jet gun and in another a vacuum heating system) which can be alternatively swung in position to cover the tank. In vacuum tank is also fitted a device for automatical admission of argon for stirring. This equipment is completed with many functions which can be switched from one to another easily. It is suitable for refining all kinds of special steels, especially to be used as auxiliary units of outside furnace refining equipment for middle or small steel smelting funaces.
