Abstract:
     To the melted steel slag, some of the following materials are added: silicate rock, mineral or its efflorescence material, calamine, broken glass, casting sand, coal dregs, waste brick, redmud, valcanic eruptions, blast furnace slag, desilicon slag, iron oxide and so on, as modifier to produce melting reactions and then by fast cooling treatment and followed by the de-iron treatment to achieve steel slag. If lime and/or plaster is added in it and they are mixed and ground, or these three components are ground respectively and then mixed, the producing mixture may be used as mud hardening agent, soil modifier, or binder for prilling and agglomeration.
