Abstract: |
|||
| Oxygen is supplied to the master and the auxiliary blow pistol by means of bisecting the flow of oxygen in a cast copper oxygen gun to the effect that carbon can be completely burned and the heat generated can be raised to 3.4 times that of traditional steel-making method. Scrap steel can be made full use of. Pig iron can be put directly into the converter, when iron melt is not available, to make steel instead of melting the pig iron in the cupola furnace as an initial step. Utilizing this technology may keep up production, requiring no capital investment. The oxygen gun does not harm to the walls of the converter and lasts long. It can serve as a practical oxygen gun in the production of steel. | |||
