Abstract:
     According to this invention, the control of molten steel temp. and of slag alkalinity are correlated as an organic whole with the technology of gas purification of molten steel under the circumstance that the steel laddle is covered. The operation is simple. Under ordinary pressure, high purity bearing steel with oxygen content is less than or equal to 20 ppm can be produced steadily. The quality of the high carbon bearing steel meets the requirements of YJZ-84 standard, and reaches a unique standard in the field of outside furnace refining both domestic and abroad.
