Abstract:
     The present invention relates to a synthetic non-metallic halide powder used for jetting of metallurgy and the process thereof, the basic raw materials of which have salt, fluorite, lime are charcoal powder. The process comprises grinding the material into certain size granule, mixing the granule obtained with brine, pressing the mixture into mass, drying it, baking, grinding it dryed into powder, drying the resulting powder and dehydrating. The powder according to the invention has conspicuous effect of deoxidation, desulfation, dehydrogenation, denitrification, especially is suitable for production of ball steel.
