Abstract: |
|||
| This invention is an injection method powder delivering device for rare-earth alloys and belongs to a special apparatus to add rare-earth alloy into molten steel (or molten iron). It is suitable for casting steel ingot and steel cast and also for the inoculation modificator adding technology of continuous ingot casting and iron casting. The powder delivering device is hanged on the side wall of steel ladle. Through an axial switch having a spring and being able to control the input amount of powder, rare-earth silicon powder and molten steel stream are synchronously and quantitatively injected into a pouring bush of medium casting pipe to make the rare-earth metal uniformly distribute in steels. The absorptivity of rare-earth metal in steels is more than 80%. The expenses to add rare -earth raw materials into one ton of molten steel is less than 10 yuans RMB. per ton, which is about 1/3 of the expenses needed by using technologies such as metallic wire feeding method and ....... | |||
