Abstract: |
|||
| The present invention is a bottom-blown coal-oxygen spray gun for a top-blown converter and its protecting technology. The spray gun is an effective tool for heat compensation of the converter. It consists of conveyer pipe, connectors and a gun body. Non-oxidation gas (e.g. nitrogen) is used as the carrier of coal powder. In order to intensify the spray effect, the structure of the spray gun is such that the coal powder can be conveyered unblockedly and be accelerated at the spray nozzle. The analysis and practice of the heat state of the spray gun has shown that the good technological conditions for protecting the gun are as follows: The ratio of coal powder to gas should not be smaller than 5.0, and the coal-powder supply rate should not be smaller than 0.6 kg/cm2.minute. During the blown smelting, the average gun temp. at the distance of 150 mm from the molten steel is about 230 deg.C. | |||
