Abstract:
This invention is a composite blow technology for the oxygen top-blow converter adopting bottom blowing coal-oxygen. The whole smelting process is regulated and controlled through the top-blow oxygen lance; the bottom coal-oxygen lance can jet coal-oxygen from begining to end without influencing top-blow operation, thus achieving the effects of thermal compensation and agitating the melting pool. With this invention, the supplied quantity of heat in the converter is actively increased and the ratio of waste to steel in smelting charge is improved. On the other hand, even if the carbon content in the melting pool is very low, its decarburizing speed is still kept high, so the oxidizing property of the slag is lowered and the over-oxidizing phenomenon in melting pool is elimited. This invention also enhances the desulfurizing ability of the slag and improves the recovering rate of Mn.
