Abstract:
     The present invention provides a complex modifying agent for the manufacture of nodular cast iron with high strength. According to the defined process, the agent can be obtained by the action of metallic tin of industrially pure grade and 75% silicon iron. It is characterized that under practical condition and definite chemical composition, the mechanical properties of nodular cast iron may be drastically improved by adding this modifying agent. Owing to the elimination of normalization treatment, tremendous man power and financial out put may be saved. This agent is easy to prepare, so that every casting mill can do it independently.
