Abstract:
     The present invention relates to a manufacturing process of granular protecting cinder for continuous casting in steelmaking. The powder protecting cinder is used for protecting casting at present. It not only is harmful to operation and reduces rate of end product, but also affects seriously personal health as a resalt of powder pollution. The invention uses low-carbon graphite, fluorite, limestone and cement clinker etc., to manufactuee granular protecting cinder having a certain grain size and higher intensity. It can be used for continuous casting with strong adsorption-inclusion ability and good spreading performance. It also improves labour environment and the quality of casting blank.
