| This invention relates to a preparing method of Si-Fe-Bi instantaneous inoculant for the production of spherulitic iron. The inoculant is made of silicon iron, bismuth and flux by meehanical mix. The silicon iron and flux are weighed by volume method and the bismuth by tablets. The mount of inoculant packed in a bag is determined based on the volume of foundry ladle. When the inoculant is used, its bag package is directly put in foundry ladle, so omiting such processes as breaking, screening and preparing, It has obvious inoculation effect, the ability of eliminating iron from reverse to white iron and the action of auxiliary spheroidization. Even if its phosphorus content reaches up to 0.13%, the number of graphite nodules in spherulitic iron can reach over 800 per sq.mm and the number of ferrites is greater than 85%. Furthermore, the performance is stable. | |||
