Abstract:
     This invention provides a detoxication process for treatment of chromium slag. In the condition of no-increasement of the investment in equipements, the chromium slag may be used instead of lime as slagging flux of basic electric arc or basic open -heart furnace in this process. It can treat large amount of chromium slag. The detoxication and drainage are complete. It can be used to make plain and alloy steel. With said process, the steel quality can be ensured, and the smelting cost of the steel can be decreased. The furnace slag can be used to make cement material, thus the waste is turned into useful material, and comprehensive utilization is realized.
