Abstract:
    A force with which a small animal bonded to an adhesive layer tries to release itself from the adhesive layer is absorbed, or the body of the small animal is positively caught all over, thereby preventing the small animal from being released from the adhesive layer to capture it efficiently. A small animal trapping device (1) conmprising a substrate (2), a sheet (3) consisting of an elastic material and/or shape, and an adhesive layer (4) formed on the surface of the sheet (3). The sheet (3) is fixed to the substrate (2) at specified locations (3a) and portions other than the specified locations (3a) are disposed so as to be able to contact or be separated from the substrate (2). When a small animal (10) bonded to the adhesive layer (4) struggles to get rid of the adhesive layer (4), the sheet (3) expands/shrinks or moves in the direction of contacting or being separated from the substrate (2) to absorb a force with which the small animal (10) tires to escape, thereby preventing the small animal (10) from being released from the adhesive layer (4) to capture the small animal (10).
