Abstract:
     A method for killing Phalaenae pest by means of setting sexual inducer in field, comprising a trapper (1) equipped with sexual inducer inside, which is distributed in field with more in round and less in center, setting a trapper in area with the length being 40-50m and width being 10-20m in every row which among the two to four rows around trapping area, and setting a trapper in area with both length and width being 30-50m in every row in the field center. Compared with current technology, the invention is characterized in that it arranges trapper according to the feature of Phalaenae movement, which makes full use of trapper and increases insect killing rate; taking the area of 289* 667m2 as example, the number of trapper needed is reduced from 578 to 193, and the reduced number is larger when the area using trapper is larger, for example, when the area is 625* 667m2, the number is reduced from 1250 to 345, which greatly reduces the cost of killing insects.
