Abstract: |

| As steam (or water) is added into the cold blast, heated by hot blast furnace to more than 1100 deg.C, it is sent to the blast furnace while coal powder is sprayed into the blast furnace at the tuyere. H2O in the hot blast at the tuyere of the blast furnace: H2O-H2 1/2O2. It is burnt with the hot blast and the cokes is the blast furnace and the powdered coal sprayed-in: O2 2C-2CO. To add 10g H2O in every cubic metre of dry blast is equivalent to increase 3% blast approximately, so the production may be increased by 3%. The higher the temperature of the blast is,the more humidity may be increased correspondingly, so the concentrations of Co and H2 in the gas is increased, which means an increase in the reduction capability of the gas and the indirect reducibility, the production may be promoted and the ratio of coke is lower. When the pressure on the top of the furnace is great than 1.03 kg/cm2, temperature of the blast is great than 1100 deg.C, H2O in the blast is great than 90 ...... | |||
