| The characteristic of the method is that the amount of hot blast blended with the flowing pulverized coal,namely the excess air coefficient,is controlled so as to carry out temperature-controlled combustion by stages inside the temperature-controlled burner and outside the burner,before the pulverized coal is injected into tuyeres and completely blended with hot blast of about 1000 C which comes from hot blast furnace The equipment used is made up of the temperature-controlled burner,block,duct for trasporting pulverized coal,and thermocouple.This invention may increase burning ratio of pulverized coal injected into blast furnace by from 5 to 25 per cent so that more of expensive metallurgical coke can be replaced by pulverized coal. | |||
