| This invention belongs to a smelting technique of sponge iron using direct-reduction method, including a new technology and a new furnace type. In the invention, by the upper and lower bunkers on the top of furnace and the helical welded body in furnace, minerals and coal can be laminally loaded and then do helical motions in respective helical chambers depending on their dead weights. The air in furnace is blown in from the tuyer at the lower part of furnace and burnt along with the coal at tuyer area. The generated heat and high-temp. reduction gas move up through the holes on helical steel sheet. Compared with existing techniques, this one features saving energy resource and investment, simple technology, convenience to operation and capable to increase technical and economical benefits. | |||
