Abstract:
     The water-cooled and water-sealed feed distributor of the blast furnace uses a water-cooled transmission case, which operates on the principle of self-balancing of the furnace gas pressure, in combination with a U-tube water-sealed drain system. Both the moving and stationary shells of the transmission case located inside the furnace shaft are equipped with the heat insulation, water cooling devices and means for keeping water from entering into the furnace. Meanwhile, channel for wet removal of dust is provided for the furnace gas to enter and leave the transmission case freely. The gas which enters into the transmission case is subjected to cooling and dust removal and establishes a dynamic pressure balance with the gas generated inside the furnace. The U-tube water-sealed drain system can remove water continuously and avoid the leaking of furnace gas through the drainage tube to maintain the smooth operation of the blast furnace under high pressure.
