Abstract:
     A method is disclosed for treating surface of wind hole or slags-discharging opening of blast furnace. By diffusing several metals in one step, the surfaces of parts to be treated, are first applied with a layer of coating type diffusing agent prepared by mixing metals of chrom, moly, tungsten or its alloy powder and aluminium powder, chromium compound of halogen and adhesive, after being dried are buried in powder diffusing agent prepared by mixing aluminium powder, aluminium, alloy powder, ammonium compound of halogen and oxide of high melting metal such as aluminium oxide, magnesium oxide, titanium oxide etc, and then heated for several hour at the temp. of 700-950 deg.c. Wind holes and slags-discharging opening treated with this method has raised surface hardness and can last longer.
