Abstract:
     The technological method is charateristic of using triethanolmine as de-hairing accelerator and de-hairing in the drum at an appropriate temperature, liquid ratio and with appropriate amount of caustic soda. Triethanolamine has the characters of amine and alcohol; and is nontoxic.This technology can be used for de-hairing from skins of cow, pig and sheep. Various kinds of hair can be recovered and waste water can be used circularly, without any sulfur pollution and the leather has good quality. The technology is simple and convenient to be operated, but it needs adding a working procedure of haircut. However it produces better economical effects and eliminates sulfur pollution in environment.
