Abstract:
     Main points of the present invention: recycle of sulfide, no water washing in the process, hence no pollution of sulfide ion in waste liquor; reducing the amount of lime used in the process and the solid waste is treated to inhibit sulfide ion pollution in it; sulfide in heavy tanning is recovered and that in light tanning is oxidized to inhifit air pollution; the chrome tanning liquor is recycled, so that the pollution of trivalent chromium ion in chrome tanning is eliminated.
