Abstract:
     The present invention refers to a novel process for the depilation of skin from pig, ox or sheep. The said process does not use sodium sulfide, thus eliminating sulphur pollution, as well as other pollutions from existing depilation processes. The leather quality thus treated can meet ministry specifications with advantages of simple technology, ease of extending its application and increased economical and social benefits.
