Abstract:
     The invention provides an improved tanning process in which the tanning is carried out with formaldehyde tanning liquor made of formaldehyde, sodium sulfate, sodium chloride, sulfuric acid, sodium bicarbonate, and soft water, and then immersing in neutralizing liquor including such components as sulfuric acid, sodium sulfate, sodium chloride and soft water. The processed goose down skin has advantages such as white, soft, moisture-proof, not yellowing, not losing down and resisting washing.
