Abstract:
     New technology for retanning leather includes such technological steps as preheating and rotating drum, into which wetted leather and hot water (temp. of liquid in drum at 30-37 deg.C) are loaded, for degreasing with liquid ratio at 1.5 times leather Wt., adding solution of efficient reinforcing combinating agent with 1-3 ten thousandth of leather Wt. while rotating for 15 min. and adding 1.5-2% red vitriol until pH value is 3.8-4.0. With said technology, high-grade leather may be made up.
