Abstract:
     A technology for processing hides of improved Chinese sheep includes curing raw hides, acid pickling, degreasing, chrome tanning, etc. and features 30-35 deg. Be of depilatory paste concentration, addition of antiseptic during acid pickling, addition of kerosene, softener and 8 deg. Be of saline during degreasing, and adding 8 deg Be of saline, formic acid, sodium dichromate, etc. during chrome tanning. The tanned hide features plump and soft leather, greater ductility and smooth and fine surface.
