Abstract:
     A blanking band knife for making shoes or hats is made up of excellent middle-carbon steel through shearing, normalizing, pickling, rolling, drawing edge, austempering, pickling again, planning, grinding cutting edge, high-frequency quenching for cutting edge, tempering and blueing, and has the specifications of 50-100 m in length, 2.2-2.3 mm in thickness, 13 deg. of angle between inclined and flat planes, and 48-50 deg. of included angle of cutting edge. It features not cracking when bending it and high hardness of kinfe body and cutting edge.
