Abstract:
The mixture containing hydrous aceton and a small quantity of acidic compound is used, among which the volume of aceton is at least 70% or almost 100%. The ground cellulose which may contain lignin or none at all and starch can be hydrolytically decomposited or saccharified completely or partly by this kind of improved organosol process. The whole process is accomplished as following: within a limited period of time, the reaction temperature is raised, preferably 145-230 deg.C, then the dissolved sugar obtd. by hydrolytical-decomposition is cooled and prevented from degradation to non-saccharide material.
