Abstract:
     The present invention relates to a technological process for producing xylose by using corn cob or bagasse as raw material and adopting beet mill or cane mill equipment, so that said invention not only can make sugar house use cane or beet to produce white sugar and white granulated sugar, but also can make it produce xylose. Said invention can use the existent equipment of sugar house, including time kiln, sugar juice clearing plant, evaporation system, boiling and purging and drying plants, and has the need of adding corn cob (bagasse) hydrolyzing equipment and sugar juice ion exchange equipment. Besides, said invention also provides a technological process for cleaning hydrolysate and other procedures.
