Abstract:
     A process for extracting and refining glucose from the waste liquid after hydrolyzing yam includes acidolyzing, neutralizing, decolouring and desalting. Its advantages include no influence to original process for producing yam saponin, high utilization of starch (60-85%), high purity up to 90-96% and low cost.
