Abstract:
     The present invention relates to food processing and aims to provide industrial process of converting semi-cellulose in corncob into high-quality oligoxylose. The technological scheme includes the pre-treatment of corncob material in the water solution of alkali metal hydroxide; the direct cracking under the action of weak catalyst, such as acetic acid, formic acid, citric acid, etc.; reaction with xylanase liquid, decoloring with active carbon, ion exchange to eliminate impurity, vacuum concentration, mixing with maltodextrin as excipient and spray drying to obtain oligoxylose powder.
