Abstract:
     The invention relates to a process for extracting glucose and/or xylose for preparing ethanol by utilizing straw plants which comprises, at room temperature, mixing stalk with diluted acid solution by the weight ratio of 1 : 4.5-8.5, elevating temperature to 90-100 deg. C, keeping constant temperature, quickly dissolving the hemicellulose in the stalk, abstracting glucose solution, preparing ethanol from glucose solution fermentation. The glucose solution can be charged by non-dissolved cellulose in the cellulose hydrolysis glucose solution. The process can increase the sensitivity of fabric in the stalks to cellulose.
