Abstract:
     This invention concerns a method to calculate, measure and control the degree of supersaturation of a boiling sugar solution by using computer based regulating instruments with input: the temp. of the boiling sugar solution, the absolute pressure in the vacuuma tank, and the purity variation curve of the sugar solution. In this method, the degree of supersaturation is measured by means of temperature and absolute pressure transducers. This method may be used in the measurement and control of the degree of supersaturation of the sugar mother-liquor in the process of boiling concentration of sugar, also may be used in the measurement and control of the degree of supersaturation of other solutions.
