| Hereby is disclosed a novel process in which crystalization of crystal sugar can be fulfilled within 3-4 days with refined granulated sugar as raw material. It is characterized by maintaining several steps of constant temperature (i.e maintaining several constant temperature zones) so that the solution cools gradually during the crystalization process and the super saturated sugar solution can be crystalized rapidly. The initial temperature of isothermal crystalization period shall be 70-72 deg C for 12-24 hours. Then after each temperature decrease of 3-6 deg C, the constant temperature shall be kept for 6-12 hours. The final temperature of iso-thermal crystalization shall be 46-52 deg C for 6-12 hours. According to this invention, total yield of crystal sugar obtained in two crystalization steps is 86-90%. The capacity of crystal sugar production can be greatly enhanced with the same equipment. | |||
