Abstract:
     The invention is a method for extracting sugar remained in maltose residues. Based on the pressing principle, it is a measure adopted to remedy the weak points existing in the process of maltose prodn. using plate and frame pressfilter or vanetype filter. It may make good use of waste residue, so the economic benefit may doubled and redoubled. The realization of the present invention is simple. Practically, hydraulic press is installed near the condensation pot. The sugar residue is well packed with filter cloth, which is then hooped by a steel ring. Several packings thus made will be stacked together and pressured to squeezeout all the syrup existed in the sugar residue, and the syrup obtained will become maltose required after condensation.
